- Auth0 Passwordless Login and Authentication: We use Auth0 for secure passwordless login via an SMS OTP (One-Time Password) sent to and from the user’s phone number. This is the only personal data we collect.
- Phone Number: Collected once during the account creation process to create a secure Auth0 client object and the SMSChat.AI account.
Use of Collected Information
- Account Creation: The user’s phone number is used to create a secure Auth0 client object and an SMSChat.AI account. This information is secured and maintained by Auth0.
- Service Access: The phone number is used to set up the user’s personal private SMS gateway directly to OpenAI’s GPT models for the SMSChat.AI service. This is done with the user’s knowledge and permission when they choose a “Free Trial” or a paid subscription.
- Communication: We will access the user’s phone number only with the user’s explicit permission for communication purposes related to service trials or subscriptions.
Data Security
- Storage and Protection: The user’s phone number is stored securely in the Auth0 data store. We adhere to rigorous security measures to protect this data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
- Third-Party Access: OpenAI does not have access to the user’s phone number at any time. However, OpenAI’s privacy policy and terms and conditions apply when users access their AI services.
- SMS Security: We make every effort to secure all SMS conversations by adhering to regulatory guidelines set by the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act).
Payment Information
